Philip Mallon (10) was in top form as he won the May Bank holiday Medal.
He went round with a three over par gross 72 and his nett 62 was two shots clear of the field.
Philip will be delighted to see his handicap return to single figures.
Stephen Downey (19) was runner-up with a nett 64.
Stephen, like Philip, is a former “golfer of the year” so it was a case of the cream rising to the top.
Club captain, Bill McCandless (6), was third with a nett 65. He had four birdies in his gross 71.
The best gross prize went to a very talented young player, William Small (4), who scored a one over par 70.
Eamon Galloway (18) won the prize for best senior with a nett 69.

Gareth McGregor will be sorely missed
The members of Banbridge Golf Club were shocked and saddened when they learnt of the untimely death of their esteemed member, Gareth McGregor.
Gareth was a very popular member and no mean player. He will be sorely missed.
Everyone at the club would like to express their sympathies to Gareth’s wife Nicola and to his two sons, Adam and Don. May he rest in peace.
