Country star Derek Ryan is all set for a return to Hilltown Hall on Sunday March 15.
The Carlow singer has been establishing new crowd records everywhere he goes, including at his recent show at the Bannville, and it is expected that a full house will be in attendance, given the level of interest being shown in his visit to Hilltown Hall.
Just recently Derek has been combining the roles of concert performer and dance specialist and he is certainly carving his name with pride in both spheres.
There will be a red-carpet welcome for the singer and his band at Hilltown in what promises to be a special St Patrick’s week bonanza.
Derek normally generates an electric atmosphere and dancers are assured of a high-energy performance that will be rich in quality.
“We are looking forward very much to going to Hilltown where we are always made very welcome,” Derek commented.
“Hilltown has a tremendous tradition of country dancing and it’s great to see the crowds flocking there again to what is a top-class venue,” said Derek.
“While it is great to see the crowds coming to all the venues, we take nothing for granted. We are continually tweaking our programme and we just hope that we can continue to justify the faith of our loyal followers.”
Derek and his band will be on stage in Hilltown at 10.45pm and the advice is to get there early. Admission is £12 and is payable at the door.
