Cambridge House pupils celebrate success

Cambridge House Grammar School students had plenty of reasons to celebrate excellent results in GCSE exmainations.

The overall school performance witnessed a rise in A* to C grades.

Top performers celebrating their success included Caitlin Caldwell and Miranda McConnell, who achieved 6 A* and 3 A grades and Sarah McIhagga who achieved 4 A* and 5 A grades. Other students are also celebrating with many getting straight A*/A grades.

Students sitting the GCSE exams this year achieved 100% A* to C grades in eight subject departments: Art and Design; Business Studies; Construction; English Literature; Child Development; Performing Arts; Spanish; Single Science.

Elma Lutton, Principal at Cambridge House Grammar School, said: “This year’s GCSE results are improved again from last year and we are delighted to have continued the trend in the rise of students achieving grades A* to C. Our students and staff put in a lot of hard work throughout the year and it is great to see them getting the achievements they deserve.”
