Carnlough man Rodgers’ recognised by honorary degree
Carnlough’s most famous son graduated with flying colours this week, receiving an honorary degree from the University of Ulster.
Liverpool FC boss Brendan Rodgers was awarded the title of Doctor of Science (DSc) for his outstanding contribution to sport.
Rodgers picked up the accolade at a graduation service in the Coleraine campus on Monday, alongside another of Northern Ireland’s sporting greats, champion jockey AP McCoy.
