French breakfast raises funds for mountain rescue charity
This charity was chosen by the pupils following the tragic death of a former teacher, Eamonn Murphy, and his brother John in an avalanche in Scotland last year.
A fundraising event was organised by the school’s Pupil Council in December. The ‘French Breakfast’ was for pupils, staff and invited guests, including Rev J. C. Irvine, the Chair of the Board of Governors, and Brian Symington, Director of RNID Northern Ireland.

The Pupil Council wishes to say a special thank you to the manager of the Sainsbury’s store in Carrickfergus for the kind donation of croissants.
