It’s panto time once again at Rathfriland High School
This year’s show is the classic tale of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves and students and teachers are busy preparing the show for its debut later this month.
Many senior year 12 students are involved in the production and taking on the roles of sweet Snow White and her dashing Prince are Tia Wilson and Rory Mallon.

Also treading the boards will be James Boyd on his third outing in an RHS production - quite a thespian by now. This time he will be part of a side splitting classic comedy duo - mother and son combo, Danny and Dolly Dumpling.
With art imitating life Dolly will be played by James’ real life partner in crime, Mark Weir. Just wait until you see his strut.
Another pairing on stage will be Nathan Edgar and Daniel Lamont taking on the charming wicked men of the wild wood Mr Bogwort and Mr Stinkwort - a right pair of bumbling idiots.

There are seven more little reasons why this show is a must see. The seven dwarves are all students from years 8 and 9 and are played by Mallory Lutton as Top Dwarf, Joanna Davidson as Cheerful, Mia Walker as Sniffly, Laura Adams as Grouchy, Katelin McKee as Snoozy, James Ward as Dozy and Thomas Martin as Disney.
The show will run from December 15-17 at 7pm and tickets, priced at £5, are available from the school Office.
