Lightning resulted in power cut
Approximately 800 customers in and around the Corbet area experienced a short loss of electricity supplies for 10 minutes on Wednesday October 8, after a lightning strike damaged the electricity network.
NIE emergency crews responded immediately, locating a damaged transformer on the overhead network. A small number of customers remained without power while repairs were carried out.
