£25,000 worth of drugs found in car

Approximately £25,000 of suspected cocaine was discovered in the Oldpark Road area of Lisburn, on Saturday September 20 following the stop and search of a car.

A 41-year-old man was later arrested and later appeared at Lisburn Magistrates Court on Monday charged with possession of a class A drug and possession of a class A drug with intent to supply.

DI Alan Pyper from PSNI’s Organised Crime Branch said: “The man has been reported to the PPS for possession of a class B controlled drug and possessing items that breach a registered trademark.”
