67 prison officers medically retired
Sixty-seven prison officers have been medically retired over the past three years in Northern Ireland, it’s been revealed.
Incredibly, 27 have retired for medical reasons in 2013 to date. The figures for 2011 and 2012 were 22 and 18 respectively.
Justice Minister David Ford revealed the figures in response to an Assembly Question
