Cloney's season ends in defeat at home to Newmills
It was an end of season game with nothing to play for and both sides took a while to get into any kind of rhythm. It was Newmills who took advantage from a corner that wasn’t cleared by the home defence and led to a simple tap in.
The second goal came from great play by the Newmills stand-out player and captain who used his pace to get in behind the Cloney defence and lob the outrushing Derek Curran.
