FORMER Derry City striker Davy McDaid has signed a 18 month deal with League Two side York City for an undisclosed fee.

The front man who netted 17 times for his home town club last season, could be joined at Bootham Crescent by Institute duo Dean Jarvis and Michael McCrudden, the pair spend time with Gary Mills’ side last week.
