According to the Wheelers a marshal error 100 yards from finish soured the big bunch sprint but it didn’t effect the seven breakaway riders who all got prizes.

Another thanks from the Wheelers goes to to St John’s Ambulance, PSNI, The Bike Shak, Berty and all the Marshalls, to all the car drivers and to Barbara and Faith in the hall.

This week’s race is the Quarry Corbett circuit which is another tough one.

Next week’s race is the very popular Aussie / Pursuit starting the Castlewellan Rd to the Castlewellan roundabout and back with a total of 31 miles.

Then on June 7th west Down Wheelers have a 10 mile TT on the Warrenpoint Carriageway. Sign on from 6pm. This is for the Eric Maxwell Memorial.
